Maruti Suzuki Fronx : Maruti Suzuki has reached a remarkable milestone with the Fronx compact SUV, producing over 5 lakh units since its launch in April 2023. Production began a month earlier, in March 2023, and the SUV quickly became one of the brand’s top-selling models. Within just nine months, Maruti Suzuki rolled out 1 lakh units, doubling the figure to 2 lakh by June 2024. The momentum continued, crossing 4 lakh by February 2025 and finally reaching the 5 lakh mark in July 2025.
The Fronx’s popularity isn’t limited to India alone. It has also made a strong impact in global markets, achieving 1 lakh export units within just 25 months since international shipments began in June 2023.

Engine and Powertrain Options
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx offers multiple powertrain choices:
- 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine – Produces 89 bhp and 113 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
- 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine – Delivers 99 bhp and 147.6 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
- CNG variant – Based on the 1.2L NA engine, offering 76 bhp and 98.5 Nm, exclusively mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
